Question regarding warranty on a 2024 4Runner

I'm about to pull the pin on a purchase of a new 2024 4Runner. I am a current owner of an 06 Tacoma. I do not understand the 2 year/25,000 warranty along with the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty the dealership spoke about. Which is which and what is what? Appreciate the feed back.

The dealer may be trying to sell you an additional add-on which is not necessary for your new vehicle warranty as it’s not clear from your post (to me) what coverage this 2 year/25,000 mile warranty offers.

 

I'm accustomed to 3 year 36,000 Toyota Warranty. I'll be asking more questions of the dealership. Thank you for your time and response.

 

And that’s the basic warranty you’re going to be able to use at any Toyota dealer.

Anything that dealer trying to sell you at the same time you are buying a new car is bad deal. They know they can roll it into payment and most people won't notice that they absconded with thousands of your money.
