This is a question to all that have overlays. Do they look dull or fade easily? Does the matte black look good on a black vehicle?
I ask because of a new plastidip color.
I know how normal plastidip works & lasts but have no practice with this new item.
Is it worth it to plastidip (we have the kit); or are the overlays the best?
    Odd question I know.
    Ryan.
P.S. end of video he takes it outside in the sun.

    Feel free to ask
I’ve only had the overlays on since last summer, but they’ve held up fine and look the same as the day I put them on.

Overlays are cheap enough and easier to work with. If they fade, pull them, paint them, add new 3m tape and install.

My overlays have been on for over a year, and still look new. I did my gray valances in black plasti-dip, and they have also held up very well.

    Thanks,
I have tons of experience with plastidip. It is the Hyperdip I have never used & wonder if it wouldn't be a better matching color than the overlays (especially on our black). I know overlays would be easier but what would look better?
    Ryan.
