Looking for guidance on what I'd need to do to my current 4R set up to support; a new rack (~80 lbs), a rooftop tent (~150 lbs), recovery gear, and surfboards. Also want to be able to handle mild to moderate overlanding trails. Don't want to raise much higher than 2" if possible, carport height issues...

Plan so far... i'd dig feedback on if this all this is necessary and, if so, are there reliable cheaper options to look into without compromising performance.

Goal: Support ~350+ lbs of additional weight (dynamic) and maintain reliability/dependability on trails up to a moderate difficulty. 2" raise max

    Tires:
    • Wildpeak A/T3W LT275/70R17
    Suspension:
    • Bilstein 6112 Series Front Shock 2010+4runner
    • Bilstein 5160 Series Remote Reservoir Rear Shock (reservoirs necessary?)
    • ARB 2895E 1.5″ Rear lift paid of OLD MAN EMU coil springs (cheaper reliable options?)
    • 03+ 4Runner Camburg Performance X-Joint upper arm kit (cheaper reliable options?)
    Misc:
    • Planning on chopping front bumper myself, KDSS shouldn't impact this right?

    Thanks.

I can only speak for my self
I'm rolling withb700lbs springs in front 600 rear
Make sure the roof rack is rated for appropriate load (you and whatever else is up there)
    2" lift/level works well
Check out my album...I want to say you're looking at a similar setup
