So I’m looking into buying pre-fab drawers for the back of my truck for some nice storage while camping/overlanding.
Looking for suggestions. I have a third row and am wondering if it would be better to take it out before adding the drawers or not. Any other recs are appreciated!!

I'd definitely take out the 3rd row. If they aren't needed and you'll be doing this often, I'd even consider the second row. Can't wait to see what you do!

    Sorry yes remove seats

    The amount of space gained

let alone the pattern/flow of the floor/sides of truck become visible

    easier to work with

have the thread saved somewhere but the whole gist of it focuses on the amount of hidden space/storage

    ie
the space inside the interior wheel wells
Under the cargo area(removing foam etc)
    DIY attic

    blah blah blah

fun part is utilizing some of these things to their least obvious yet best potential

Unless the third row is needed for passengers, you will gain from removing them and laying the second row down even utilizing pre-made drawer systems especially if you are planning to sleep in the vehicle.

I have also been contemplating a drawer system. Then I eventually realized a draw system is more permanent and a pain to remove when not overlanding and not accessible when the back is closed. So I will be sticking with a regular box/container. Would need more detail as to your type of overlanding, like more than 1 person and how long to better suggest things.

    Welcome and good luck.
