I am watching a show on Amazon Prime call Expedition Overland. Basically a bunch of young people head out in a built up Taco and Landcruiser and head up to Alaska. I wish they would show more of the off-roading though and less of them camping.

I watched it. The second and third seasons are better.

Funny you mentioned that. The new neighbor I have shared with me the post above. But he edits video for Amazon, he worked on the one with the Top Gear guys in Columbia.
He owns a nice Rubicon, wants me head out with him in the time ahead. I would like to do this Washinton with him, just need to do some planning.

WoW!! This sounds great! I live in North Seattle and have been looking at off-road trails for camping trips and such. Got all the required gear, just would like to tag along with a few others for a piece of mind in the bush. PM me if you ever need in another local trail travel bud. Would love to plan a trip or two this summer! My TRD PRO is itching to get out in the bush!!

Awesome, i am working right now. But will talk to my neighbor. He has never been out, but wants to go.
I will reach out to you in the days ahead, ill see what's on his mind.
Who knows this may pick up some momentum. I have a week off this July, after a couple worldly trips, i planned to stay close this time.

Okay just to shout at you... My new neighbor sent me that link. I looked at it - told him I would read it further.
I sent to him a note about posting it on the forum and found someone else interested.
Since then - I talked with my wife about it (yes; we work together). We have had some worldly travels as of late - but she has simply wanted to camp. In short - she is a bit excited.

So I sent my neighbor a note - he is excited... You could say things are gaining traction. (smile)
I am new to the forum, I will try to find out how to share my email. We can all get in this dialogue.

Just got home from work - let me get some din-din's in me. Start getting all the communication info together to get us all in a loop.
    Talk with you later.

    William

This has inspired me to set a schedule to have my rig finished by Memoral Day weekend so I can get the wife and kids out for a couple days on the trail, kinda like a test run, so we can nail down a plan for when the summer hits.

I've got more than enough leave saved up to run this in the summer and still take ten days for late muzzleloader deer season.

Any idea on where to source maps of the trails?
