I've done something that EVERYBODY disagrees with and think I'm off my rocker.

    I have (2) daily drivers - 1992 Land Cruiser I've had for 20 years and as of March 2019, a 1987 Toyota 4Runner.

I'm selling my 2005 Tacoma (2-wheel drive) and using the proceeds to maintain the others.

Cold in St. Louis right now so won't be delving into them until Spring.

I hope this forum is as good as IH8MUD is to my Land Cruiser.

Looking forward to greasy hands and raw knuckles!

Thanks for the welcome guys. You'll find I'm very straight forward and NOT a mechanic. I also enjoy posting my mistakes as somewhere, somehow there HAS to be somebody else as stupid as I am.

For example, the other day driving to work she started popping and grinding, something was seriously wrong. I pulled her over and got her towed to the shop. Turn out when I put a box in the passenger's seat, I inadvertently put her into LOW, shop put back into HIGH and drover her around a bit - all is good. The LC takes a lot of force to put into low with the little shifter - First Lesson Learned cost me a $125 tow.
