Might be going to Tahoe in a week or two. Want to hit up some trails while I’m there.

Any easy/beginner trails in Tahoe that’s open this time of year? Genoa Peak would be cool but I think it’s closed.

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
Just went through Tahoe yesterday and had a 2hr delay on hwy 50 from a rock slide at Echo Summit, one Rock was ~10’ square.
2nd time I’ve been through there in the past month, the 1st time hauling a HD trailer with a vertical mill, lathe and very heavy assorted tooling/cabinets w/my Cummins and was held up for 5hrs that time for a rock double that size(think 1 car garage size), could not turn around.
    Lucky me.
I back up to the Pinenut mtns in the Carson Valley, pretty fun stuff on BLM. Enter at Johnson Lane in Minden. Only about 12 miles directly across the Carson Valley from Genoa.

Telegraph Trail off Pioneer in Myers is a fine easy trail to start with. Did it in my grandmothers stock Mercury Mountaneer once so a 4runner is more than adequate
