    Hey all,

Will an Odyssey Group 34 battery (850CCA) be large enough to run a Warn Zeon 8-S winch (minimum 650CCA for for winching) and an ARB Twin Compressor. These wouldnt ever be used at the same time obviously and I am not running a fridge or anything else that has a constant draw. I do have aftermarket S8 light bar, Squadron Pros and Fogs but none of this is ran with the engine off.

Trying to stay away from Group 31 due to weight and other mods needed. If I run a fridge at some point I will upgrade battery again or go with an auxiliary unit.

If I need some schooling on battery upgrades feel free to chime in. Thanks

Short answer, yes. Unless you run everything at once you should be more than capable. When winching you will be running the engine anyway, the winch usually wires straight to the battery because of draw during winching. I can't recall the draw off the twin but unless you're inflating tires while pulling someone out, the 850 CCA will do just fine, even using the the light bar while doing either

I just ordered an Odyssey 34R for my auxiliary battery. With all the extra weight adding up I could not justify the group 31's extra weight. I think if you use the group 34 to replace the starter battery on a 5th gen you will need a spacer to get the height up to match stock.
