I’ve got a 40th anniversary with the bronze rims. Getting ready to pull the trigger on installing Eibach leveling shocks (1.6” lift in front/ 0.75” 4th gen lift springs in back). Was thinking of putting on stock sized Falken wildpeaks, but in doing research, it looks like a lot of people are having to modify wheel well and trim bumper to fit those on because of the offset on TRD rims?

looking to see people’s experience with AT tires on TRD rims on SR5s and TRD off roads (I understand TRD Pros are trimmed at port). Thanks

Should be fine sticking with the stock size.
Going up to 285/70/17 you may have to trim a little and push the fender liners forward. May have to remove the mud flaps.
    Here's a basic guide.

Apparently, the shoulder on the ATs is what causes the rubbing issue when combined with the +4mm offset on the pro wheels.

how are you liking the lift? That looks quite a bit higher in the back than I would expect. That’s with the 4th gen coils? I’m hearing those lift anywhere from 0.75-0.9”. I saw a couple on Reddit that used the bilstein 5100 with 1.75” in front and 1” rear Bilstein coils, so I was hoping for something with little less rake

thank you. I did see this on another thread, but I think the issue would be that an SR5 or TRD with stock wheels can fit larger tires than the same model with TRD wheels. The increase in offset apparently is what leads to the rubbing. Apparently TRD Pros and 4Runners with XP packages in SE region are trimmed at port to account for the increase in offset and increased shoulder size old the AT tires

Yup, 4th gen rear spring. I even have third row seating. Rear to front rake is about 0.75". I also have Eibach Pro Truck Sport shocks on the back.

Ive had the lift for a few months now and really enjoy it. Its subtle but was noticeable to me. Its my DD and I dont offroad so another more would have been a waste. The reduction in nose dive when braking was significant.

I could see that. My TRD ORP came trimmed from the dealer.

I'd mount the tires and cut what needs to be cut. :oldglory:
