    Hey all!

I am new to the forum and was wondering if anyone had any idea on my issue. I have a 95 2W 4Runner and we changed the heater core and when we put the dash and plugged everything back in it will not start. First it would crank but didnt sound like the fuel pump was kicking in. Then later it does absolutely nothing no sounds etc.. when trying to start. Battery is good voltage wise, the lights and windows work in ACC.

Any thoughts or knowledge would be very helpful!

    Thanks all,

Welcome. Have you checked all your fuses? I would get your battery tested just to be sure it is good. Hopefully others will check in.

Thanks for getting back! I have checked the fuses and I found one bad one for the ignition but I put a new one in and nothing. Checking the battery today but the voltage was good with the multimeter last time I checked.

    Thanks for your input!

Its a pretty simple electrical system. Check for 12V (always) at terminal 30, the large wire and 12v at terminal 50, the small wire at the starter when the key is turned to the start position. If you don’t have the voltages you will need to start checking continuity of the wires back to the battery. You don’t mention if you have a manual transmission, if you do you may have disconnected the clutch start switch.
