Not an owner…yet!

Just got the OK from my partner to start looking for a 4Runner! I’m a researcher on my future vehicles and need to know ALL the pro’s and con’s to a vehicle before I invest so be patient with me. I’m a DIY for all my repairs and thus far I like what I see. My roots are with VW bugs (owned over 20 beetles, + a van and a Ghai,) then got into waist vegetable oil conversions with a Golf, Eurovan, Suburban and my most fun with a Mitsubishi Delica (lot’s of mods here). Now in a ‘13 Highlander Hybrid which I will say goodbye to once I find a 4Runner. I am fully converted to Toyota now and my second vehicle is a ‘98 Camry that my youngest uses primarily.

I live North of most of you in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, have been biking year round (coldest ride -38C +wind chill) since high school and have continued on my entire working carrier. Retirement is coming up and the 4Runner will take my partner and I on many dependable adventures in the future.

I look forward to learning from you all, implementing and creating mods and sharing my experiences.
