It will be my first time out in Hollister. For those who have gone, what trail do you recommend to go on that is not to difficult for a stock 4runner(not mine)?

Just stick to the green trails and you will be fine. It has been raining lately and the mud can make even the "easy" green trails difficult to navigate if you don't know what your doing.

Avoid the blue and the black trails for now, those things get narly really fast even in the dry summer.

McCray to the top of hector heights isn’t too crazy. Took buddies out that way on their first run no problem.
