So I have a 88 4Runner. I don’t have any high beams. Low beams work. High beam indicator on dash works. I have new light bulbs. Checked wiring. I’m not electrician and the wire diagram is a little confusing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Joe

Do a search… this is a common issue and is a reasonable do-it-yourself fix.
There is a switch at the base of the light stalk that needs its contacts cleaned.
I had the same problem and the solution saves the cost of new switch and the hassle of the install.

    Good luck.

I did do a quick search. I’ll get better at searching. I did end up pulling the switch a part and sanding the contacts. The high beam side had 225 ohms of resistance put back and now I have lights. Thanks John
