I’m looking at the nfab or the predator side steps.. the nfab side steps looks to sit slightly higher then the predator from the pics. Does anyone know if they do?

Don't know about height but I went with the Toyota Predator steps because they are made from aluminum.

Not sure where in Hawaii you are but if rust is a problem, this may factor in to your decision.

I had the nfab on my ‘19 and loved them. Can’t speak to the difference yet but once I get my new one (within a couple weeks) I will be able to tell you as it will have the predator steps. I chose the nfab for my ‘19 TRDOR because they were half the price of the predators.

I have the Nfab steps. I think they offer a bit more ground clearance, mine are about 15.5” from the floor. The powder coating seems to be good too.

Thanks for the info..I’m leaning towards the n fabs since they seem to offer a little more ground clearance vs the predator according by the pics. I do like the predator since they are aluminum vs the nfab which can rust. Rock sliders are probably the best option but they are pricey

Yes, sliders are pricey, plus unless you absolutely need them, they add weight.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
Weld on rock sliders are the least expensive sliders out there. This company sells them for $346.15.

You just need to find a shop locally that welds.

I have Shrockworks sliders ($640) on my 4Runner. When I looked 3 years ago, they were the least expensive bolt on sliders that were already powder coated.

If you plan on going off road, I would get rock sliders.
