    Hello all,

New here with my new to me 2014 4Runner Limited, but have been a member of Tacomaworld under the same screen name for a couple years with my prior 2015 Tacoma Prerunner.

Hope to gain as much knowledge and have as much fun here.

Thanks all, happy to be here, got my Tacoma during the height of COVID prices sadly so took this long to get out of it and into a 4Runner. Not a new model but it’ll do for me to learn everything on and then get another newer model in 4-5 years when all my kids are grown lol.

Loved my truck and had no issues except for the converter shudder starting to rear its head, knowing I will eventually inherit my father’s 2023 Tacoma I decided I wanted to get what I really wanted before I settled on my prerunner, a 4Runner.

Night and day difference. The comfort and the overall build feel, the prerunner wasn’t bad but this is leaps beyond it in how it feels overall.

Now comes the fun of tweaking it how I want it with small mods to make it mine and learning all its little hidden gems of convenience and quirks.

First thing I did was yank the factory running boards off it. Next up was a neoprene cover for the center armrest, nothing wrong with it and plan to keep it that way, last for today was to toss in a pedal commander to help with the factory pedal. Already have air and cabin filters ordered, plus weather tech style floor mats to arrive next week.
Next up on the to do list is a replacement skid up front for easier oil changes, and vent visors.

Been my favorite Toyota mod so far, my next one to concentrate on will be the payoff mod lol. But that’s for thought after I get my youngest her first car, me and the missus a new house, then when that happens then maybe…..

Recently "came over" to the 4Runner site with the purchase of my 2024 4Runner SR5 after the sale of my 2006 Tacoma TRD which served me well for 18 years. From what I have observed so far, the 4Runner crowd are a bit more chill and gentlemanly. Or gentlewomanly, if that's even a description. Took our first road trip this weekend, a whole 120 miles up and back from San Diego (92131) to Murrieta Hot Springs Resort. Nice driving experience.
