Hi, I just picked up a 2006 4Runner. It is in great condition and has had 2 previous owners both in FL. Carfax indicates all reg maintenance and oil changes every 5000 mi. I do have a question though. The clock/climate control lights were blown. I bought new ones but they glow very, very dimly, almost not even distinguish that they are on. All other dash lights seem to be working just fine. I did try led bulbs, could that be an issue? what else could cause JUST the clock lights to be dim?

Welcome. Start with something easy and check that the dimmer knob is working. Also, check the fuses. Sometimes a blown accessory fuse can cause this on older cars with incandescent light circuits. Some others may have better ideas and advice.

Thanks. The dimmer knob works for the gauges but, nothing happens to the clock. Also, the lights on the climate buttons and the lights for the Pass. Air bag work well. It seems to be just the two bulbs that illuminate the clock area.
