    I'm new to this forum. I've been driving my girlfriend's 98 4Runner and we'll we haven't really taken the best care of it TBH so that's why I'm here. I'm slowly starting to fix up the engine, will take it to service the transmission and check the brakes. What I would really want is to start modding it hopefully for off-roading but with the fact that I have a 5 month old baby so safety and comfort and reliability is the priority. Any tips and suggestions anyone can have about mods and upgrades and maintenance would be greatly appreciated!
    On a side note, just earlier today I was driving and as I slowed and came to a stop, the truck started to shake and felt like it was going to turn off until I accelerated. Any tips on that? I suspect it's the air intake.
