Thank you! Yeah the Blackout Plus package this year included the TRD wheels and Grappler tires. Completed the look and sold me on it for sure

 

I see they didn't black out those little chrome slivers in the grill that come on the newer models. They make overlays for those in case you're interested. Let the modding begin!

 

Very interested! Its been bugging me since I got it, same with the tiny chrome strip on the back of the side mirrors if you zoom in to see. Do you have a link or know where I can go to search for that? (Also looking to replace the roof rails with black since they very oddly came in a silver color)

Not sure about side mirrors - I'd google "overlay" for that as well. Are you sure that isn't the side mirror turn signal? I know on ORP, the "premium" also gave you turn signals on the mirror. Same for SR5 in 2023?

 

Buying those now, thank you! And you know, I have no clue. I just saw chrome and thought it stuck out. I'll play around with the turn signals tomorrow and see. Thank you!

Just a quick update on a few minor modifications I've made so far. Those matte black grill bar overlays came in today, and also got the car windows tinted all the way around with ceramic. Thanks again @FN2187 for the link!

Next up im planning to install a Pedal Commander, then its onto a full length roof rack. Anyone have any experience with the PC? Also open to recommendations roof rack recommendations. I like the Prinsu look, just so many options out there.

Couldn't help but notice one more 'omission', if you want to call it that. My Nautical Blue 2019 TRDOR has black roof rails. Yours are silver. I know you're going to replace that, just thought it odd on this blackout package. I think blackout looks great, especially on white.

And I couldn't agree more. Especially since they aren't even chrome, they're an actual silver paint color like some other 4Runners, matches nothing else on the vehicle. Very odd manufacturer choice. I played with the idea of removing and spraying them, but decided to go for a full roof rack soon enough anyway so they'll just be OEM's for sale later.

- In other news, I ordered a pedal commander and some AVS low profile visors that are coming in Monday! Next up I'm looking at the gunsmoke lamin-x tail light and fog light covers.

I recently won a pedal commander in their 12 days of Christmas giveaways. I like it. I find it makes it more responsive and you can dial it in to your liking. City 3 is my sweet spot so far. Small mileage improvement. Sport +4 is really touchy! Changes the feel a lot. But city in winter in Canada seems to be the best or else the traction control is kicking in every few seconds on snow/ice covered roads. Nice new runner! Congrats and welcome.

I'm looking forward to it! From all of the reviews I've ready, City 4/3 is what I assume will feel the best for me. Not that I couldn't get used to the throttle delay, but my work vehicle is just as much a daily driver and has very little delay, so the back and forth is making it take longer. Southern Louisiana here so snow/ice will very rarely be an issue thankfully. What was your installation experience?

 

very easy plug and play. Hardest part was getting the Velcro to stick in -30 weather.
