Just got back from our first trip in the new to me 4runner. About 3,000 miles. Two people + about 200 lbs of luggage/gear. No major issues. Couple of small things. Fuel gauge is not accurate. Twice the low fuel light came on & DTE read something like 20. Filled up & only held 17 gallons. I know this is better than being that far off in the other direction, but is there any calibration I can do? Tires are 265/70R17 Dueller H/T, w/~200 miles on them when I left home. Speedo reads 4 mph slow compared to the Torque app, 2 mph slow compared Google Maps. I think Maps uses GPS & Torque uses what is reported via OBDII? Got about 18 mpg for the trip, running posted limit to 5 over and estimating correction for speedo error at 2%. Not great, but acceptable. LTFT showing around + 3-4. Does that seem about right? It has an aftermarket alarm on it. Not gonna discuss that here. It will be gone before next week!

    Welcome to the forum.

I have not heard of any calibration available in regards to the fuel fill/level issue.

Welcome. Forum tip: please provide your model year & mileage when seeking advice. Helps a lot in figuring out what an issue might be.

For the fuel gauge, fuel sending unit is a known 4th Gen issue. may help.

Look at the top of the page on the right hand side and click “ You” then “Personal Details.” Scroll down and you’ll see a place for a one line description of your rig.
