Is there a way to repaint the rims or replace? Thank you for all input. Paint is rough but going to get top notch wash and polish this week.

Looks like you got a nice gift from your uncle, better give him a good hand-shake next time you see him.

There's usually some OEM take-off rims listed in the classified section that will fit on your 4Runner, and there is a lot of aftermarket rim options too.

You'll be surprised what good clay bar and session will do. Finish it up with a good old fashion wax job or you can go with the new ceramic coatings.

I don't know of any performance MODs that will improve gas mileage or power.

For LED lights, do some shopping on Amazon or Headlight Revolution

You have an awesome uncle. You can re-finish the wheels but like others have suggested check the marketplace especially Facebook market place. You'll find a set of those for probably ~~$400.00 which is less than it would cost to refinish those wheels.

To increase fuel mileage, don't press the accelerator very much. Nothing else you can do, except don't drive it.

Brother, a K&N air filter will not increase your MPG. The only way to do that is to drive it like a grandma.

The funny thing I put down deposit for Ford Maverick hybrid but they mess up and got me Ecoboost. Of course I got email saying delays. This 4R will be my temp ride for towing bikes etc .

If a K&N filter would improve mileage, the TOYOTA engineers would use it.

Car makers are under a lot of pressure to improve MPG so if it was cheap and easy, they'd already have done it.

As others have said, the only real way to increase MPG is to drive it slow. No mods will fix the mpg. Most owners find that the best mpg comes with steady 50-60 mph. Higher speeds kill mpg on this thing -- it is far from aerodynamic and pushing all that air at high speeds is deadly for mileage.

I have a 2020 and have averaged 17.1 mpg over 20K miles per the computer. The computer tends to be close to what you see when calculating by hand at the pump. It would be significantly worse but several thousand of those miles were long highway trips. I get about 15 around town. And while I don't baby it I also don't drive it hard. I drive it like the big unwieldy thing it is, not meant for jackrabbit starts, stopping on a dime, weaving in and out of traffic and racing around corners.
That's what my GR86 is for :burnrubber:

PS -- congrats on getting that truck. These things are built to last.
