    Hello all,

I just bought the wife a new SR5 Premium because she wanted the 3rd row for the family otherwise I would have gotten a TRD.

I am more excited about it than her I think because I don't think she knows all the mods it can take!

    Two Questions:
What are the suggested things I can do to it OR get for it for Overlanding when not mall crawling that would make it better (aside from a winch, bumpers, lights, and new AT or off-road tires, snorkel unless there are specific ones that are known to be good ones for this vehicle)?

Are these SR5s capable without the TRD's MTS and other manufacture-equipped off-road features? If not, which ones could I add to make it more like that so I have the 3rd row for the kids?

    TIA all!

Good catch, I should have put tires because I knew I needed the beefier ones.

In the past when I look for lockers Eton Elockers seems to be inexpensive and reliable option. But I didn't install. So don't have real life experience.

I love how the A-trac works and even small things like DAC downhill assist control work well than I thought. I thought its useless. But when I used on a steep downhill ABS controling my decent I was surprised.

I'm a HUGE fan of 3rd row seat as I've used few times. Wish I have that option for TRDs.

Good to know. If they had the 3rd row in the TRD I would have gone that route, but we need to use it for a family of 6 at times.

Hence, no TRD, as I had to get the 3rd row instead. I am sure I can probably bump up the suspension later and maybe install airbags or something for all the gear. I haven't packed it yet to see how much it sags with all our stuff though.
