Swapped out BFG KO2’s with 45k with MT Baja Boss A/T’s - different tire for a diehard BFG guy and on the surface, at least for now, I’m pleased with my decision.

A little more weight, a little stiffer ride but what a hell of a tire.

    Looks nice!
Question, I have been debating between the baja legend EXP and your choice on the baja boss. It is my understanding that the legend EXP is more like a hybrid tire and the Baja Boss is a true AT tire. How did you make the choice if you don't mind me asking. Thx.

It came down to the following for me going with the Baja Boss A/T’s over the EXP’s:

    Baja Boss A/T’s
    - Stronger 3-ply sidewalls.
    - 3 Peak winter rated
    - More siping
    - Side grabbers
    - Aggresive stance/look

I was looking at various tires and in doing all my research this tire seemed to best suit my needs.

It is a heavy tire and the 3-ply sidewalls make it stiffer than my former KO2’s but these were reasonable trade offs.

Really happy so far and even some of my BFG diehard buddies are impressed with these Baja Boss A/T’s.

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks Brother! Certainly this helps.

I did the SL’s. Love them, coming from Wildpeaks. 2.5” up front and had to trim a tiny from front fender, and took a heat gun to my front mud flaps.

I have the stock size on my Pro. Love them. Already got to test them in the snow. Around 5 inches nice.
