    I fell in love the 4Runner when I lucked out and got one or two weeks last Thanksgiving from Enterprise at the Airport in Grand Junction Colorado. I started to think about replacing my 2014 Subar. initially, I was not in a rush-but started thinking about a. 2024 when the 2025 was announced. I did have a Hybrid Jeep in Death Valley that made me think about the 2025 4Runner Hybrid.
    Any advice on options would be appreciated ....Thanks

    If you want a known, if old/classic (subjective) quantity, both with pros and cons the outgoing gen is fine.

    If you want to try the hybrid I’d wait a year or so to see what kinks get worked out. Not saying it’s going to be inherently good or bad, but it’s a good practice for any new generation of vehicle.

    Personally I’m not about the new 4Runner’s size increase but I’m just a stickler for width. Availability without markups will vary widely as well.

    Note that it’s not a plug-in like the Wrangler 4xe so no all-electric driving for more than a mile or so.
