New Member from Arkansas

A new to me 4Runner brought me to this forum. I am not new to 4Runners, I had a 96 and 2011 in the past. My previous vehicle was a 2013 Tacoma Off Road. After the Tacoma was totaled in a pile-up, I picked up a 2016 4Runner Limited (black in color). Right now it is stock, but I have plans.

I plan to use the 4Runner as I used my Tacoma, a daily driver and camping/exploring. I do like the ability to sleep in the back of the 4Runner. I am fairly well set up on recovery gear, I do need to add front recovery points. First on my list is a set of good AT tires, I have always had good experiences with the Toyo Open Country ATIIIs, so that is likely what I will get.

I will have to get some pictures to share, but since buying it, I have decided the 5th Gen 4Runners have to be one of the most common vehicles on the road. You know what they look like!

Welcome and congrats on the 4Runner. I bought a 2024 Limited back in March. I like a lot about the Limited, but not the wheels and junk tires (Bridgestone Duelers on mine). So I found a set of ORP take-offs and bought some Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail AT's to put on them. It very much improved the looks, and I'm very happy with the tires so far but I haven't had an opportunity to drive on them in a heavy rain. Good luck and please post some pics.
