Hey, I'm Mike from Greenville, SC....just joined the forum. My new 2022 TRD Off-road being delivered "soon". I have a 4WD 2005, I will be selling, more on that in another post.
I didn't order the sliding cargo tray, but it's installed on an available vehicle that matches all my other preferences. Is it strong enough (and large enough) to hold two sets of golf clubs?
    Thanks!

    Welcome!

The sliding tray is the whole size of the cargo floor behind the rear seat. It's rated to hold 450lbs, so I would imagine it's plenty strong enough to hold two sets of golf clubs.

Another nice thing is that with this tray installed, when you fold down the back seats you have a completely flat load floor. Without it, there's about a 3-in difference between the height of the load floor, and the height of the folded down rear seat backs.

I have the tray, and while I don't use it to move cargo in and out, it is very handy leveling the floor. I've slept in the back of my 4R numerous times and it's been very comfortable.

From what I gather, the sliding tray is quite expensive and kind of a pain in the neck to install after the fact, so if you even think you want it, I would go with the one that has it. If you decide you don't like it, you can sell it for good money.
