I’m new the Toyotas, just got my 08 4R 4.7 last week. I just put some new black housing headlights on, and one side seems to fit way different from the other. Scared that closing the hood might clip the edge and crack it. Anyone know what might be the problem. I know they are not the most premium headlights, but my old ones were shot and just needed a cheap replacement. I already tried to adjust the hood but didn’t help much at all. Anything helps!IMG_5586.jpg IMG_5587.jpg

They really look great with that red paint. I wouldn't try to adjust the hood. I'd try to adjust the headlight first. Which side it the difficult one? Maybe take it to a body shop and get them to adjust it. It's probably worth an hour of their time.

I just finished cleaning up the ones on my 2004 with a $17 kit from Amazon. It did a really nice job on them.

Loosen the headlight mounting screws and try to shift it a little, that's about all you can do. What brand are the headlights? Some chineseium/eBay brands fit better than others. I've had good luck with Spyder and KHC on other vehicles.
