New from Missouri

Hey all, joining in preparation for eventually having my first 4Runner. Ideally looking for a 3rd gen as I love their look and they'd be great for a daily driver for me. I love off-roading and have done so in the past in a previously-owned 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro (lost it in the divorce, sigh). Have been all over the Southwest, mainly off-roading in UT, CO, etc. Will have a new model in the future to use when I move out that way in a few years, but for now, hopefully that 3rd gen will come my way!

Welcome and best of luck with your search for a 3rd gen. Definitely look for a dry climate truck- you can rebuild or replace just about anything, but rust is always a killer.

Thanks, everyone - I'm in a pretty humid climate so I'm resigned to the fact that anything near me will likely have some rust happening. Goal is to move to NM sometime in the next few years and that's when I'd likely get a newer model to care for in a dry climate.
