New 24 ORP Underground - First Post

Hi everybody!

Just picked this up yesterday. This is my 5th Toyota. 4 Tacomas and now my first 4Runner. I love this color! I’m happy that it’s a solid color instead of being iridescent similar to cement. Although I LOVE cement, I prefer non-iridescent paint.

No big mods planned but I do want to replace the tires. Thinking of painting the wheels satin black instead of replacing them.

Boy, that is a beautiful color! I too have those same wheels on my 4Runner. I checked with my local powder coating business and they said $75.00 per wheel. Then after the dismount of the tire you could put on some Toyo Open Country AT3 tires and try to get some credit back from Discount Tire like some have done the forum. Just traded in my 2019 Tacoma OR for this Underground ORP! Excited to make some minor changes! Already feel this was a huge upgrade from the Taco.

 

Thanks everyone! I haven’t even had a chance to really check it out. I was told it wasn’t going to be in until this week, so I got the call Saturday morning that it arrived. Immediately drove to CarMax to get a purchase quote for my leased 21 Tacoma OR because the dealer said they match CarMax. Quote came in $2500 MORE than the estimate online. Long story short, the dealer couldn’t match the CarMax offer so I kept the Taco until Monday. They offered me $1800 less than original sticker price. Unreal! Picked up the 4Runner that afternoon, and drove it a whopping 3 miles home.

With my extra Sunday with both vehicles, the 4Runner was parked while I used my Taco for 2 last runs to the hardware store and loaded it up with cinder blocks and bags of concrete for a backyard project. REALLY thankful for this extra day so I didn’t have to load my brand new 4Runner with blocks and concrete.

It all happened so fast. I didn’t even know it had leather seats!

Yeah, I like underground on the 4Runner. Not so much on the Tacoma though.

 

A tire credit would be cool. This came with Bridgestone Dueler H/L tires. Meh… At least I didn’t get the Dunlop grandtreks.
