    Hey folks,

    I'm here to learn as much as I can. Brand new 4Runner - just purchased four days ago. I can foresee a few mods in the future, but a lot of this will be new territory for me. Rock sliders, skid plates, suspension upgrade, tires, etc - that sort of stuff. Want to make sure that I can get out there and get back.

    Thanks for the warm welcomes. Waiting for some Husky floor mats, front seat jackers from Desert Does It, interior LED lights from Meso Customs and Diode Dynamics and a phone mount from Proclips to arrive. Currently looking at RSG, SLEE, Cali Raised, and RCI rock sliders. I want some sliders that will protect the truck and act as a step. I also want to see if there’s anybody fabricating stuff up here. I’m 50 miles NE of Anchorage. If anyone knows of anyone in the Fairbanks or Anchorage areas doing sliders, skid plates, bumpers, etc please let me know. Or a good off-road shop. It could save a bunch of money on shipping costs for me. Then I’ll need to start quickly looking at a small lift (2-3”) and some new tires. Not even going to get started on the stock Bridgestones and driving on snow and ice. My cross country skis have a similar grip on snow!
