So, I see a ton of threads of people asking about different sizes and what fits and what doesn't. I have used a couple websites in the past when looking for new wheels and tires for various vehicles (old and new). Not sure if anyone else has used these, but I use willtheyfit.com and tiresize.com. I use them for comparing existing to "desired" sizes and see what the differences are for just about every aspect. I'm not sure exactly how "common" the size I'm looking at are, but I'm wanting to go from the 265 60R17's to a 305 55R20. On willtheyfit.com, I can see that the wheels I want in a -12 offset will sit 8mm further from the strut and the outside edge will stick out 46mm further.

Not sure if any of this is worth anything, but I can plan a little for any mods that I may need to do to make turning possible or if any rubbing will happen.

So, I'm looking at the Asanti Off Road AB811 and the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I love the idea of spending time on the trails, but currently my life doesn't allow me the time. So most of my time will be spent on the road which means I need to think about road noise and comfort too. Any thoughts of a comparable or better tire? Not stuck on Nitto, but I like the look and the specs don't seem too bad.

    Here's the wheels:
