Anyone have a clue what’s going on also thinking it could be the ignition inter motor too lmk what you think?

Sounds like you need a new starter motor.

    Hi:
Do you mean that the key switch has lost the spring back ability that happens when you turn it to the crank the motor position?
If so, there is a removable electric switch on the rear of the key assembly.
That is where the "spring back" function lives.
You can change out that switch, and still keep the same ignition key.

What is an ignition inter motor too lmk?

    Good Luck
    Art.
