    New Guy here,
Have a 2019 SR5 Premium and was thinking about updating the navigation with an newer sd card. I've seen them on Amazon but wondering which part number is best for my application and also alittle leery about if they are safe. My truck is past the 3 year comprehensive part of the warranty so I figure I would have to pay. I've seen were it can cost $300 at the dealership to swap out a $45 sd card, don't need one that bad.

    Any help is appreciated.

Do you use the nav frequently enough to justify a new card? I ask because IMO the factory nav is horrible, borderline useless.

I did buy a used SD card off Ebay (but it was like $6) because when I bought my 19 ORP the SD card had been stolen by some sticky fingered test driving son of a bitch. The system is unusable without an SD card and I wanted some level of functionality, if only the little direction marker in the odometer display, so that was worth a few bucks, but I personally wouldn't spend money to upgrade it.

Yeah the more I research this the farther down the priority list of improvements I want to make it goes. I live near the Quad Cities, Il, Iowa, and they just built a new bridge on I-74 over the Mississippi River, According to the gps, I'm going over the river in mid air and the exit and entrance ramps have all changed. I can probably figure it out without ending up in the Muddy Mississippi. Mostly I am afraid of getting a bogus sd card and screwing up my navigation.
