I figured I’d make a post about my newly acquired 1989 4Runner 22RE 5 speed. Some of you have seen the suspension pics I put up a week ago. I’ll keep everything in this post and update as I progress. I had to source a lot of interior parts as well as rear window (why so expensive) and untangle the horrible wiring. Hers a few pics of when I got it. I’ll update with some new pics and mini projects. Ryan

So I’ve inquired some mismatched interior but at least it’s there and I can tweak as I go. Also put in the SR5 tach and the original steering wheel, previous was a 10” diameter auto parts store special.Used carpet for $20 that took a solid hour to get most of the stains out.

    80's fabrics were the best.

That rear SR5 fabric is awesome.

Knocked off a few projects on the 4Runner. Rear pinion seal was leaking so checked that off the list. Also I took off the rear bumper in preparation for a new steel tube bumper. Ordered a bikini top and replaced the tailgate. Noticed brakes and all suspension will need to be addressed. Thankfully it’s fun to work on.
