Recently purchased a 2015 4Runner limited. Not my first 4Runner. Great Vehicles!! I feel like its missing something in the front wheel wells. A mud/splash guard maybe? Don't like the look of the exposed bolts. I have search extensively on line and cannot find a specific name or part number. (pic attached) Anyone got any info on this? THANKS SO MUCH!

Hmmm, not good. I am being picky...I would like to change it and cover them like the back wheels have. Maybe someone will know an after-market solution. Thanks for your response.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

If you have running boards, you don't get full mud flaps. I could be wrong, but Toyota didn't design it so you can have both. I have the full mud flaps, but only because I have "predator" steps. They aren't full length running boards.

Yeah, I'm 99% sure that all Limited's are like that, because they have the full length running boards; or those fancy power steps.

Our 22 Limited is exactly the same. It's ugly I know, but hey they'll stay attached I promise. We live in an area with lots of unpaved roads and we've loaded it up with mud lots of times. So, don't worry about the ugliness and just celebrate how stout everything is on your new 15' Runner - including the way everything is attached at the wheel wells! :)

    Welcome aboard BTW and congrats!!!!!!

I believe this is the correct part number: PT769-89110. We have a 2014 limited and it has neither running boards or mud flaps. Been thinking about getting both.

    This ^^^

I have a '23 Limited, no running boards, so I was able to put the full mud flaps on, using those "exposed" bolts you're so concerned about...
