You might wanna test those boards before you spend money on mounting.

I bought XBull boards and on the first time I used it to recover a Honda in snow the teeth was worn out where the wheel spined. I pretty sure if my 4Runner was on the board it would be so much worse.

If those boards are weak you can spend good money for strong Maxtrax and mounting system. (Just a thought).

I've bought the Costco boards and used them. They are legit.

Maybe a square u-bolt bracket. The boards have holes, so maybe you can use one the size of the OE crossbars and it'll line up with holes in the traction board.

One thing to note though, if you aren't spending the bucks on "name brand" traction boards your 4Runner might blow up. I saw something online about it. Even though I've used the Costco ones in the past, they aren't "Max-something" boards, so even though they worked, they probably could have worked better or faster or something, if they were the right orange color.

I’m not familiar with the stock racks of late, assuming oblong flattish rails like usual
If you don’t wanna drill through them, n just use a bolt with some wing nuts that mimic a “recovery board pin”…probably a u-bolt or a mcgeivered clamp

if you want to mount on the side of rack
Get some “o” roll bar clamps, threaded rod, wing nut…

pends what your goal is or how your rack real estate is gonna be used…looks like it could fill up quick

    oh n @Acesandeights
I dunno bout self detonation but I
haven’t used my 50something% off “you are what you eats” from BackCountry cause I heard they’ll make my truck bleed once a month…IMG_3032.jpg
