Has anyone installed the Morimoto 2Stroke 3.0’s and running them in the low beam? I’m having difficulty getting the passenger side to align in the housing properly so the diode is at 3&9.

I had the same issue, the driver side went into position with the chips at the 3/9 o’clock position but the passenger side did not. The base is supposed be adjustable but mine won’t budge. Did you ever get yours to adjust?

    Sorry for the late response.
Yes I did get mine to align properly. One of the collars came with a damaged tension spring, so morimoto sent me a new one. Having an extra set of collars, I decided to cut the larger tab down, similar to the H9 trim. Cutting the tab gave me the ability to put the collar in a different slot and fit perfectly afterwards.

    Update:
After driving a couple nights with these 3.0’s I will be returning them. For the price, I am not impressed by the light output at all. Switching back to my tried and true H9!

The light is certainly more white but that’s about it, I ended up just putting the stock bulbs back in.
