mod for using nav input while driving?

    Anyone recall the harness that allows you to use the navigation/radio while driving. Scrolling through the xm stations today and got the "you can search more stations when safely stopped" nonsense. I recall a company made a harness that corrected this nanny BS... Just can't find it.

    Found it. Wish it just did the anytime navigation, i have no need to mirror my phone. I will say one thing... I sent an enquiry to the company and they responded in less than 5 minutes, was expecting the normal automated email "thank you for your questions", but there was the answer. Makes me want to order just for the customer service.

    Apparently cutting pin wire 27 , 2nd from right lower side pin on the main harness let's you use all the functions.

    But screws with GPS and ABS from what i've read.

    A member on another website has been using it for a few years without any issues. He specifically wanted to add addresses and surf the radio stations while on the move and had no functional issues.
    Never heard about the ABS causing any trouble.

    I need to find the toco thread on the subject, but if i can recall my drunken research, a couple cut the wire and added a switch with "no issues" and one or two that cut the wire and had issues. Little to go on with three individuals and a thread that was left hanging many moons ago...
