I did a lot of searching looking for a good way to mount my midland CB, got an inspiration from my hobby flying radio control airplanes. This is a aluminum motor mount for a nitro motor, I drilled and tapped a 1/4-20 hole in one side, put soft velcro on the other side where it clamps. On top I bolted a thin piece of metal for the spring clip on the cb to grab on to. In between the thumb screw and the console is a thin piece of wood. Last picture is how it lays in the pocket. Very happy the way it turned out. IMG_8668.jpg IMG_8669.jpg IMG_8671.jpg
