I have a metal on metal contact noise coming from my front left. Only can hear it turning mostly to the left and at very low speeds.

I have put my head under from under near the skid plate and I cannot find any point where any metal is contacting metal anywhere. No rubbing of plastic either. I even read folks complaining about a rock in tire tread can make crazy noise imitating a metal/metal noise.

I have had my brake shield bend out of the way before, so I might take my wheel off again on a day when it isn't 90+ outside.

Anyway, any suggestions or ideas on what is causing this metal on metal contact noise?

Small pebble stuck in the caliper?

Thanks for the suggestion. I will have to look. I figured anything caught in the braking system would have been worn down by now.

    Yeah, it's a long shot.
