Master Alarm

Where abouts would I find the master alarm module on my '95 4Runner? A picture would also help find what I am looking for. Thanks Much-

 

Is your alarm aftermarket? I had an aftermarket one and it was to the left of the steering wheel up under the dash. Most cases it will be a black box.

 

Went hunting under the passenger seat and found this. Wasn’t hot. Gave it a yank, and one end came from the front somewhere. The other is still in place.

 

Fairly large for an aftermarket alarm, That cat appears to have been from a previous audio amplifier install.

 

Definitely after market amp install remanence.

Definitely not master alarm, don't think 4 runners come with them. Just security key systems.

 

Agree the 1995- 4Runners did not come with a master alarm preinstalled however there was an option from Toyota for the 95 to 98? that was a Glass breakage kit that had a Master alarm module and part of that mounted up under the dash on behind the glove box with a module that went behind the Passengers side kick panel then you had to install the sensor up on the front window middle behind the Rear view mirror.
