So, for the last few days, my maintenance light on my '08 has been flashing on and off for a few seconds immediately after starting the engine. I have had this happen on our 2007 Sienna as it nears the time for an oil change. I knew I was getting close to an oil change on my 4Runner so I did it last night.

Maint light still flashing (for a few seconds and then off) again today. I do have a code reader I'll hook up later today but I thought I'd ask for your thoughts as well. Thanks.

I changed some lights, tires and tinted windows...mind blowing huh
you just need to reset the maintenance light, it doesn't have any way to know you did it, it think these are the steps, if not it is in the manual:

    • Turn the ignition switch to the On position, but do not start the engine
    • Set the MILES/TRIP METER to “ODO” or “Trip A” on the little screen, by using odometer button
    • Turn the ignition “off”
    • Press and hold the Trip Odometer Reset button, and turn the ignition switch to the “On” position
    • Continue to hold down the Trip Odometer Reset button until “000000” MILES appears on the display and the maintenance light turns off
