    Hello,

I am going to have Magnuson SC installed next year. Feb hopefully. Anyone here with some experience in that?

I have heard that some Toyota dealers do that and provide warranty on labor, after the part is supplied by the client obviously.

Someone from the SF Bay Area? Dont write about pros and cons. I am way past that part.

Are you asking if dealers provide warranty?

I'd call your local ones to see if they do the work all might not.

They do provide warranty for labor. I was just wondering if there is anyone here who has had it done in the past and can share some info with a newbie like myself. Where? When? Dyno done or not? Just fishing for some direct answers. Youtube has a lot, but you never know who is the effing influencer on that platform and who is not....I got fooled once already.

    Lots…
Hi, welcome to the forum. There are lots of threads and posts on the SC on here. Try using the search function by title to find ‘supercharger’ and I hope that helps you find what you’re looking for.

Hello from Maryland. I recently had one installed in my 2022 4Runner TRD Pro. I used a local truck shop that does all kinds of vehicle outfitting. I did not have it programmed on a dyno. The shop gave magnuson information off the truck and they created a program which they sent on a usb drive to be downloaded. I think if I had the ability, I would take it to a shop that could put it on a dyno and do true programming. I have certainly noticed an improvement in power but it is still a 4Runner. From a dead start it doesn’t take off like a rocket. But if I keep my foot on the gas’s and steadily increase power, you can feel it kick in as it builds pressure. Also, it does give me some increased power on the highway. I am not sure if given the option to do it again would I spend the $$9500 to get it done. I also did a lot of extras like upgraded radiator, cold air intake and exhaust, and oil cooler fan and an oil catch can. I figured if I was possibly going to put more strain on the engine then I would want to improve the supporting parts. It’s definitely fun sometimes when I just wanna take off but I wouldn’t do it unless you have free money to spend. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the real world supercharger experience @NVRSTUK - I think I'd be in the same place as you if I decided to pull the trigger (meaning I would think it's good but probably would not do it again).
