I have a 2002 4Runner. I replaced the lower ball joints last year. I also replaced the right side inner and outer tie rods. I'm replacing the left inner and outer tie rods in a couple of weeks. If I'm careful removing the lower ball joint, can I reuse it or should I replace it? it isn't quite a year old.

    You can definitely reuse it.

You shouldn't have to remove the LBJs to replace the ITRE's though. Just separate the OTRE from the LBJ, and leave the LBJ installed.

As turbodb said, you shouldnt have to take the ball joint out. Are you planning on getting an alignment after you replace in tie-rods?
