    Howdy,

2001 3.4L Auto, and now experiencing high idle issues after cleaning the throttle body; However, prior to cleaning the throttle body, I could barely get it started and it would not maintain 700-800rpms; the rpms would drastically drop and vehicle die at stops. After cleaning it, it fires right up without assistance, but now I have a high idle issue 1100-1200 rpms when at operating temperature.

I did replace both Air/Fuel O2 Sensors: Denso Upstream

I am cleaning the IAC next and hope that does the trick.

All comments welcome. Thanks, and happy to be here!

You have to drive it for an hour in city traffic to let it relearn. This sounds normal especially if you've disconnected the battery.

it needs to relearn as others indicated. Some OBD2 scanners will do that function for you. If not, just drive it around.
