    08 v8 limited 4x4 w/3” Ironman lift
Ironman 3” stage 3 lift, metal tech extended rear brake lines, PerryParts bump stops, 32” Yokohama geolander g015 tires on 18” factory wheels.
A friend introduced my 15y/o son & I to off Roading last year, so I traded in my 2007 limited v8 2wd for a 2008 limited v8 4x4. Here’s What we’ve done so far- fairly minimal.

Swapped out the headlight & fog light bulbs with leds to improve night visibility, added an Ironman 4x4 America stage 3 lift, extended flexible brake lines from metal tech, perry parts progressive rate bump stops, and Yokohama geolander g015’s in 275/65r18 (32.1” tires).

The lift was an investment, but my factory xreas shocks were bad & knocking over every bump. It sounded awful & the oem repair cost more than the whole lift kit including installation.

looking to add rock sliders, steel bumpers & winch next.

    this is the 3rd 4th gen I’ve owned & I love ‘em.

Welcome! I had the 2UZ-FE in my Land Cruiser and absolutely loved it. I had to keep a spare coil pack with me because one seemed to go about once a year. Have you done the timing belt or was it done recently? Have the heater Ts been done? Mine blew last year.

    Great looking truck!

Since I bought the truck in November, I had to do cam seals (a big, expensive job, since you have to remove the valve covers, as well as remove and disassemble the camshafts), so I did the timing belt, water pump & coolant then. I haven’t done the heater t’s, not sure if they’ve been done before. I’ve never had any coil issues, but thanks for the info & heads up.
