I got out of my 2015 4runner trd pro I went to lock the door and it was locked, so I open the door & tried to do on the inside & the lock inside would not work. I tried turning the runner over & had no power. Then 2 minutes later the power came back. Please can anyone inform me what is going on?

I literally made this same post a few days ago. I had to double check to see if it was my post!

same thing happened to me and a few had theories that I tested. But I couldn’t replicate that initial problem. Still have no answer

Yeah that crazy, I’m not sure what’s going on. I’m trying to get a hold of an off road shop but haven’t been able to get through. If I find out what the issue is I’ll let you know.

The cause of complete but intermittent power loss (but not when the engine is running) in my friend’s Venza was a super-shoddy DIY battery terminal repair involving extensive electrical tape and an already loose negative terminal.

I’d hit the dome light switches and then fiddle around with the wiring around the battery and see if those lights come on or not and if anything looks wrong or has too much play.
