I am in the market to buy a 1st gen 4runner in the north carolina area but have been struggling to find one. I am willing to do a lot of work to fix it up, whatever it takes, but I am not trying to break the bank. If you have seen any go up for sale or are looking to sell one let me know.

Hey man, I have a 1987 4Runner for sale in central Florida area.
22re, 5-Speed, Red interior (95% complete), white exterior (Original paint). Runs and drives great. Can cruise it at 65 with no issues.
Only thing that its been giving me trouble with lately is cold starting. I have to prime the fuel before it'll start, but when its ready it starts on first revolution. (I'm thinking cold start injector - I currently own 6 toyotas, so I am really trying to clear out the garage a bit).
Asking 5,000 for it. Been pretty firm on price lately since it is one of my daily drivers.
I have family in Kentucky, so I may be able to trailer it towards you half way if we agree on a price for time and gas.
She's got some rust here and there on the body, nothing major compared to most East Coast 4Runners. Frame is solid.
