Hello, I have a 2018 4 Runner, and when I hit 30k miles, the dealership wanted me to let them do the recommended scheduled maintenance with a nearly $1000 price tag. NO thanks. I'm looking for a maintenance schedule so that I can either DYI or have my own local mechanic do the necessary maintenance. Can someone point me to a schedule independent of what Toyota "recommends" so they can make money?

1,000? You need to ask what exactly they wanted to do. Even at dealership prices if they strictly follow your owners manual at the 30,000 mile service your looking at MAYBE a few hundred bucks. As a matter of fact didn't you get two years "free" maintenance? How long have you had the vehicle?
