I have a friend that had them on his FJ...they were beefy as hell. I didn't care for the looks, but to each his own. FYI Demello apparently has a set of xwings on sale for $500 if you call them.

The best way to determine that, is to go on their site so you can pick & choose what options you want, and that will give you a price. I believe they are still running a $100.00 dollor discount at check out. You can also call and talk with them, they have very good customer service.

When I was shopping sliders I made a list of all the sliders I could find and charted out their features. I looked a stuff like:

How many supports attach slider to frame? - I wanted four some only have three or even two
Are those supports re-enforced at the joint? - I wanted re-enforcement some don't have anything other than the butt welded joint
How many supports attach the inner bar to the exterior bar? - I wanted three - some only have two
How do the sliders attach to the frame? - I wanted to use factory holes - some require drilling or use U-bolts around the frame
Do they have any sharp edges that can get stuck on rocks? - I wanted smooth, round tubes, not square
What other mods are needed? - I wanted bolt on.
I also needed them to work with KDSS.
I then looked at price and shipping to me, at my house, not a terminal somewhere.

Once I put this list together I was able to eliminate several brands and then got down to the brass tacks with about 4 or 5. Several companies took themselves out of the running because due to their location and mine, the shipping was just too much. A couple of others only ship to a terminal. I finally got it down to about three and they were all withing about $100 of each other including shipping.

In the end, I went with RSG. They were about $30 more than the cheapest but I felt the quality was a bit better and, at the time, they seemed a bit different than what everyone else was running. They seem to be gaining in popularity. If I lived elsewhere the shipping may have eliminated RSG from my list and elevated one of the others.

    YMMV

Flat with a kick out. I use them as steps every day now that I have a small lift. The kick out has saved my rim from damage at least once. Here they are in action.

No lift, stock tires at the time.

    Per their site:

Due to heavy demand, sliders are unavailable for purchase while we rebuild our inventory.

Plus, with the options I chose - $1044.00 + shipping. Too rich for my blood.
