Hey y'all I m Frenchie recently moved to the Texas Hill country and looking for a reliable ride. My wife and I love the 4runner and they are fairly cheap if you don't really look the mileage... I love to DIY even if I m not a mechanic I have worked my little French cars before haha

Thanks y'all I was looking at this one but I m scared to get robbed in San Antonio hahaha. Is there a way to know who is real on there

I suggest you get to know the models and their features. Not all models have same features.
4runners are serious 4WD vehicles when traction is an issue
So understand 2WD, part time 4WD, full time 4WD, low range transfer case etc.
Do a lot of reading about dirt, sand, snow driving. Then you can decide what features you may actually use, and desirability for resale plus maintenance

It's just to drive around my little village here no snow in Texas no mountain. Don't need 4wd. Maybe little trails but mostly a reliable car to drive around

This capability is why they have a reputation and a high resale. For a simple vehicle the rear wheel only drive -2WD- is all you need. And it will have much lower maintenance costs. My cousin has enjoyed his 2WD 3rd generation for decades.
